From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Day 1– WHERE THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
Arrive at Cherry Glamping luxury tented accommodation in the Elgin Valley. Enjoy a light lunch and refreshments before setting off on a 18km ride with rolling hills and beautiful scenery as you make your way to the wine and appetizers water point stop at Paul Cluver.
Even though we have wine at the waterpoint, you will still get a kick of excitement to make sure your skill is on par for the rest of the weekend.
Day 2– RIDE DEEPER INTO THE CAPE'S BEAUTY
Day 2’s route takes you onto technical yet beautifully maintained trails, showcasing the very best of what Paul Cluver has to offer, before linking up with the Oak Valley trails. Expect sweeping views as you pass through the famous Oak Valley flower gardens, including a ride alongside one of their impressive 16-hectare greenhouse sections.
From there, you’ll wind through the rolling Elgin landscape, surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and pine forests. As the ride draws to a close, a welcome stop awaits at a Texan-style smokehouse for a well-earned lunch, before cruising the final 3 km back to camp, completing a memorable 46 km day on the bike.
Day 3– SAVOUR THE LAST STRETCH
Today’s ride gains elevation, rewarding you with sweeping views across the Elgin Valley as you move through lush forests and impeccably maintained trails. It’s your final day on the bike, so take in the last stretches of vineyard scenery along a picturesque yet deceptively challenging 40 km route.
Your water point stop is at the Elgin Railway Market — a former apple warehouse transformed into a vibrant steampunk-style marketplace. Pause here, enjoy the tasty offerings, and take a moment to admire the intricate industrial details inside this unique space.

Day 1– WHERE THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
DISTANCE: 21KM | ELEVATION: 615M
Arrive at De Stilte luxury tented accommodation in the Tulbagh Valley. Enjoy a light lunch and refreshments before setting off. Ride 21km through the Witzenberg hills on a course that blends gentle valley riding with a big, honest middle section and a fast, flowing descent to the finish. A wine stop awaits at the 13 km mark, offering a perfect pause before the final push. With over 600m of climbing, it’s challenging but so rewarding with the wide-open vistas of the valley. Come for the challenge, stay for the feeling of flying home off the ridge back into the valley.
Day 2– RIDE DEEPER INTO THE CAPES BEAUTY
DISTANCE: 55KM | ELEVATION: 1141m
Ride 55 km through the heart of the Witzenberg, with around 1100 m of climbing, sweeping Western Cape views, and a course that blends punchy early climbs with long, flowing, rideable terrain. The route’s rolling profile and net descent invite you to test your pacing, then open up in the final kilometres for a fast, satisfying finish. It’s a big enough challenge to respect, but crafted so that riders can truly enjoy every section.
Day 3– SAVOUR THE LAST STRETCH
DISTANCE: 41KM | ELEVATION: 750M
Enjoy a 41 km ride through the heart of the Witzenberg, starting with smooth, flowing descents and winding back to the high ground at a comfortable pace. With gentle climbs, long rideable stretches, and stunning Western Cape scenery, this route is perfect for riders who love a mix of adventure and relaxation. Cap off the ride with a delicious gourmet burger lunch, accompanied by gan ice cold drink.
